English Song Recital, April 15th 2018, 2:30pm

CotswoldsThrilled to be performing with three wonderful friends, baritone Graham McGregor-Smith, soprano Kirsty Taylor Stokes, and accompanist Jo Shepherd, in an afternoon of English art song in Ascot on April 15th.

Here’s a few more details, beautifully put by Graham!

We’ll be singing works by Britten, Butterworth, Finzi, Ireland, Lehmann, Vaughan Williams & Venables amongst many others, to include settings of works by Auden, Housman, Masefield, Shakespeare and many more. The programme is full of absolutely cracking stuff, which will completely blow you away, whether you’re already deep in the weeds of English Song or haven’t a clue what I’m on about.

There will be suitable refreshments available pre-show, during the interval and post-show too, and if the weather is good, we’ll be outside enjoying the garden.

Caroline is thrilled to be joining the Charlton Kings Choral Society to sing mezzo solos alongside fellow soloists Vicki Hunt (soprano), Sebastian Field (counter tenor), Deryck Webb (tenor) and Tom Hunt (bass). The performance will be accompanied by the Regency Sinfonia & conducted by John Wright.
