065A versatile, warm and dedicated performer, Caroline is a lyric mezzo soprano and is currently studying with Dennis O’Neill CBE and Nuccia Focile, having gained MA Advanced Vocal Studies with Distinction from Wales International Academy of Voice in Cardiff in July 2014. She is also a M(Mus) graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and is proud to have been accepted onto the Extra Chorus list for Scottish Opera from 2016.

Caroline Carragher was an absorbing Suzuki, Butterfly’s maid, deeply empathetic in the role. Her creamy mezzo presentation was an absolute joy to hear, and her reflection of Butterfly’s pain was full of pathos.

Caroline is thrilled to say she will be returning to Opera Holland Park this summer to perform in La Rondine and Don Giovanni. More information and tickets are available here.

Following the summer season at Opera Holland Park, Caroline is very excited to be returning to Ormond Opera to sing the title role in Bizet’s Carmen, directed by Mark Burns and conducted by Michael Thrift.
