English Song Recital, April 15th 2018, 2:30pm

CotswoldsThrilled to be performing with three wonderful friends, baritone Graham McGregor-Smith, soprano Kirsty Taylor Stokes, and accompanist Jo Shepherd, in an afternoon of English art song in Ascot on April 15th.

Here’s a few more details, beautifully put by Graham!

We’ll be singing works by Britten, Butterworth, Finzi, Ireland, Lehmann, Vaughan Williams & Venables amongst many others, to include settings of works by Auden, Housman, Masefield, Shakespeare and many more. The programme is full of absolutely cracking stuff, which will completely blow you away, whether you’re already deep in the weeds of English Song or haven’t a clue what I’m on about.

Tickets are £10 and places are limited. Simply visit the Facebook event page for details on how to secure your place.

So please check your diaries and do come along for some fabulous English Song in the Spring sunshine on a Sunday afternoon.

There will be suitable refreshments available pre-show, during the interval and post-show too, and if the weather is good, we’ll be outside enjoying the garden.

If you have any questions or would like further details, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
