Caroline was a long-term member of Tim Rhys Evans’s mixed choir, Serendipity (of which the male half is better known these days as Only Men Aloud!)

Here’s footage from our ‘Weekend With The Stars’, singing for one night only with Only Men Aloud! in Wales Millennium Centre a few years back, alongside a very special guest….

Masterclass with Della Jones 24 – 25/03/2014

Caroline and her colleagues at WIAV have had the great privilege of working with the wonderful Della Jones this week. Caroline sang ‘Eboli’s final aria from Don Carlo, ‘O don fatale’, and thoroughly enjoyed both her session and listening to her colleagues work. Della’s expertise and guidance has been absolutely inspirational, and we are all hugely grateful to Dennis, Nuccia, Jane, Euros and WIAV for the opportunity. We hope she’ll be back soon!

The week continues with a gala concert (Wednesday March 26th 7:30) at the University Chapel at Trinity Saint David’s Carmarthen campus. Tickets cost £8 for full paying adults, £5 for concessions and £3 for children under 16. They are available by calling 01267 676806 (9.30am-12.30pm Mon-Fri) or by visiting www.ticketsource.co.uk/tsd. The programme includes Don Carlo, Manon, Don Giovanni and Les Contes d’Hoffmann amongst others, and should you feel like joining us, we promise to entertain you!

Our week, and indeed our term concludes with two days of masterclasses (27-28/03/2014) with Marie McLoughlin, and we look forward to welcoming her to WIAV and working on some more diverse repertoire.
